Specially Designed Lighted X Runway Closure Marker
The Lighted X Runway Closure Marker is an effective and efficient means for warning pilots of closed airport runways and taxiways. The warning signal also protects maintenance crews working in these areas.
The Lighted X Runway Closure Marker exceeds FAA guidelines, is extremely portable, and can be towed by most trucks. Standard 2-inch ball coupler tow-hitch. With its 20 sealed-beam amber lights for nighttime and adverse weather and 12 sealed-beam white lights for daytime, the Lighted X maintains complete visibility.
Two independent power circuits have been placed on to increase reliability and it also has a lockable control box and engine cage. Additionally, it has a Lombardini air-cooled diesel engine with 30-gallon fuel tank with up to 160 hours of continuous operation.
The X-Marker Lighted X exceeds FAA guidelines for shape configuration, providing highly visible lights on out stretched arms 27 feet long. Easy to reposition, the X-Marker quickly folds up for transport or storage.
